The challenge

Peak season kept breaking the plan.

Nordvik ships flat-packed furniture from two Chinese factories to a Hamburg DC. With four forwarders on rotation, bookings were rolled every peak season and nobody owned the status of a box.

Stock arrived late for the autumn range three years in a row, costing an estimated €1.2m in missed sales.

Nordvik Home

The solution

One forwarder, locked space, one record.

We moved both lanes onto contract rates with peak allocations agreed in June. Pickup, customs and the DC appointment became one booking, tracked on one record that Nordvik's buyers and finance team both use.

The result

A calm peak, two years running.

Both 2025 and 2026 autumn ranges landed on time. Nordvik now plans next season's allocation with us in May, using lane reports from the platform.
