Contact details you share in quote and contact forms, shipment data needed to move your cargo, and basic usage data from this website.

We do not ask for special category data. If a shipment needs personal identification, for example a private import, we collect only what customs rules require.

To price and move your shipments, to meet customs and legal obligations, and to send updates you have asked for.

Our legal bases are the performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interest in running and improving our services. We keep shipment records for seven years to meet customs and tax retention rules, and delete other data when it is no longer needed.

We share shipment data with carriers, customs authorities and partners only as needed to move your cargo.

We never sell personal data. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, for example to an agent at destination, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

You can access, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to privacy@lanewise.com.

You can also object to processing, ask us to restrict it, or request a copy of your data in a portable format. If you are unhappy with our answer, you may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
